Green VIVO Community Engagement

Lobbying & Advocacy

We believe that cannabis can improve the lives of many more people. This drives our commitment for a world where
patients have access to the products they need, without stigma or prosecution.
Our lobby and advocacy work in Europe is particularly based on six umbrella goals:

1.

Improved legal status for medical cannabis and safe access for patients in need.

2.

Consistent reimbursement and fair costs for prescribed cannabis medicine.

3.

Quality education and harmonized medical cannabis guidelines for health care professionals.

4.

Fair market access for licensed cannabis companies (single EU market rules).

5.

Enhanced public funding for cannabis research and evidence studies.

6.

Balanced presentation of risks and benefits of medical cannabis in public education.

Green VIVO is a Member of the European Cannabis Association

The ECA unites members of the industry, legal counsel and investors. The aim of the ECA is to represent the interests of the European cannabis industry in the international environment and vis-à-vis decision-makers in order to achieve an appropriate regulatory framework for the industry. To this end, the ECA’s working groups develop, among other things, guidelines, policies and codes of conduct related to quality, regulatory and compliance issues, and create a space for the discussion of new developments in these areas.
“Despite the rising significance of medical cannabis in the European economic discourse, a unified legal framework for its trade within the EU remains elusive. This gap is precisely what the ECA aims to address.”
Dr. Alex R. Martin, Chairperson, European Cannabis Association (ECA)

Working with the Ministry of Public Health
(MOPH) in Thailand

Green Vivo has been closely following the development of cannabis production in Thailand and is in constant communication with the MOPH to ensure regulatory standards are being met for all procurement partners in our Portfolio. We provide advisory for implementation of policies affecting exporting of medical cannabis and social infrastructure policies such as decriminalization and control of recreational use.

We support the dignity and well-being of our employees, the communities where we live and work, and those impacted by our operations. Our practices are based on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and aligned to UN Sustainable Development Goals.

We support leading experts in their fight for better systems, to help creating knowledge and evidence about the benefits of cannabis in modern medicine and society.

As a responsible employer, we respect and support the communities where we live and work, and those impacted by our operations, products and business relationships.
We pursue high standards in environmental conservation and climate protection. In our partners’ cultivation facilities, we ensure they rely on innovative water recovery systems and pesticide-free cultivation. This enables safe cannabis products and supports our high standards to protect nature and biodiversity.
